For the first time in over 30 years, the British Museum is transporting visitors back in time to the age of the Vikings! Known as conquerors, explorers, and some of the fiercest worriers in human history, this exhibition explores everything from battle techniques to jewellery and trade. Delve into the core period of Viking history from the 8th to 11th century and see what it was like when the Vikings ruled the world!
This exhibition is on from 6 March to 22 June, 2014, so be sure to book your tickets for the exhibition in advance at britishmuseum.org or 020 7323 818. And don't forget to book your train tickets to London in advance to save on fares for the whole family!
If you still haven't had your Viking fix after your visit to the British Museum, travel to York to visit the Jorvik Viking Centre and see first-hand how the Vikings lived and how their presence played a role in shaping modern-day York!
