And if you're a Season Ticket holder who travels with us on a monthly or longer season ticket, you no longer need to email our WiFi support team to get online.

Our WiFi uses mobile data connections to give you coverage up and down the route. It automatically selects the best connection in the area, for a drop out free signal.

    Power Sockets

    Power Hungry?

Every table has power sockets, so you needn't run out of juice.

We've scoured the east coast to find ingredients for our onboard Foodbar's delicious range of sandwiches and hot and cold snacks. There's a full drinks menu and at-seat trolley service on most journeys too.

At-seat dining for First Class Passengers

    Rest of the day

Throughout the day we offer a selection of sandwiches served with hand-cooked crisps.

After drinks, choose a delicious evening meal followed by dessert or selection of British cheeses.

    Something to Drink?

We'll ensure you remain refreshed with hot and cold drinks served along the way.

Complimentary alcogolic drinks from a selection of fine wines, beers and spirits are serverd to our First Class customers aged over 18 on weekday services from lunchtime.

    A great choice of wines

We've a notable selection recommended by our team who have a nose for wines that... ahem, travel well.

    Quiet Coach

If you want to catch up with work, read, or have a doze, you're more than welcome in our quiet coach.

You'll find our havens of peace in coach B

If you're in the quiet coach, the idea is to keep the noise down. Mobile calls and noise from electronic devices are forbidden (now's not the time to review your ringtone collection!), and conversations should be conducted quietly. If you do have to make or take a call, please move into the vestibules before dialling or answering.

Oh, and a quick heads-up: there are no electrical sockets available in the Quiet Coach on our direct service to and from Inverness, Aberdeen and London. That's a long way to go on a flat battery.

Please note: First Class no longer has quiet coaches. This will give you more flexible space and greater freedon. But fear no lovers of the chill - First Class will remain an oasis of calm, as will our Standard quiet coaches.
