c2c

c2c

c2c runs frequent train services from London’s Fenchurch Street station to Southend Central and Shoeburyness, via Basildon and numerous other stations.

Services are all modern electric trains with air conditioning and First and Standard Class accommodation; as the service is principally aimed at commuters, there are no seat reservations, refreshment facilities or WiFi facilities available.

c2c is one of the UK’s most punctual operators, consistently recording well over 90% of trains being on time.

You can buy train tickets online at MyTrainTicket.co.uk for all c2c services.

Quiet zone

c2c has introduced quiet zone carriages, to allow customers who wish to travel without excess noise the opportunity to sit in a quieter environment.

One in every four carriages, on all c2c services, is a quiet carriage.

Carrying bicycles on trains

Bicycles are allowed on c2c for free provided they are stored safely and out of the way of other passengers. Bicycles do not require a reservation.

Please note however that bicycles are not permitted on weekday services arriving at London Fenchurch Street between 07.15 and 09.45, or departing from London Fenchurch Street between 16.30 and 18.40.

Fully folding cycles can be carried at any time but should be transported in protective carrying cases.

Motorcycles cannot be carried on any c2c service.
