Luggage and storage
There is a generous luggage allowance when travelling on UK trains – up to two large items (eg. rucksack, suitcase) and one smaller piece of hand luggage (eg. laptop bag, briefcase). You can find further details of your allowance at the station.
If you are travelling with more than your allocated amount or have items that are not easy to store (eg. ski equipment), a charge is payable. Some airport train operators such as Gatwick Express will permit the free transport of skis in the luggage van, included in the cost of your rail ticket.
To find out about storage facilities at the railway station, please contact the station directly.
